About Us

As advocates for organic and eco-friendly products, when it came to dog collars and leashes the options available were bland and boring. Convinced that earth friendly doesn’t mean dull, we decided to make our own.

Fueled by a love of dogs (like the Aroo Studio mascot, a beagle named Splash), Aroo Studio was born. Named for the merry howl of a hound, Aroo Studio products are handmade to order in Sonoma, California.

Founded and run by a self-acknowledged collar addict, Aroo Studio makes it easy to keep your pups fashionable while considering the environment. 

We make eco-conscious choices when selecting our materials, choosing natural parts whenever possible. We primarily use sustainable materials such as cotton, organic cotton, and hemp.

Our products are soft and comfortable for your pet to wear, and are durable and washable.

Supporting animal rescue organizations is very important to us. We believe that every dog deserves a warm & loving home, and do what we can to help with pet overpopulation. We donate collars & leashes to organizations that need them, and a portion of our proceeds are donated to support animal rescue.
