About Us
We admit it. We’re collarholics. We didn't want to give in and confess, but the evidence is too obvious to keep a secret any longer. Collars are hiding all over the house. They are in drawers, cupboards and closets. We find them in the bathroom, forgotten after giving the pups a wash. They hang on doorknobs and hooks. Aroo Studio was born to feed our addiction to fashionable collars while keeping the earth in mind.
Aroo Studio is run by 2 best friends, Jessica and Elaine. We work out of our tiny apartment in Point Richmond, California. Each item is made to order by hand, packed and shipped to you by us personally.
The company name, if you haven’t guessed already, was inspired by the merry howl of a hound. Our beagles were the inspiration for the "Aroo" in Aroo Studio. Once you outfit your dog with our products, we hope you’ll hear an approving “aroo” too.

We make eco-conscious choices when selecting our materials. We choose natural materials whenever possible, and primarily use sustainable materials such as cotton, organic cotton, and hemp.
Our products are soft and comfortable for your pet and washable too. They are handmade from scratch here in Point Richmond, California.

All our products are handcrafted from high quality, durable materials. In addition to our standard sizes, we can custom make collars to size. Just contact us and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Supporting Animals in Need
Supporting animal rescue organizations is very important to us. We believe that every dog deserves a warm & loving home, and do what we can to help with pet overpopulation. We donate collars & leashes to local organizations that need them, and a portion of our proceeds are donated to support animal rescue.
